St. Moritz ski resort - a snowy paradise!

The notion of starting winter tourism was invented over 150 years ago in St. Moritz. Till today, sunny and snowy slopes of Corviglia invite all skiers and snowboarders every year. This Switzerland's ski resort became popular as one of the most luxurious and professionally prepared ski region in Europe.

We just can't deny - St. Moritz does skiing and snowboarding like a pro!

The ski resort St. Moritz – Corviglia is located in Engadin St. Moritz (Eastern Switzerland, Graubünden). In the four large ski areas of Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb and Zuoz (as well as in five other small but special areas) winter sports fans have 88 slopes waiting to be explored. The Corviglia is the home mountain of the world-famous winter sports village of St. Moritz which hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 1928 and 1948.

Properly prepared slopes welcome skiers, both beginners and experienced ones, to ski between Marguns, Corviglia, Salastrains, Signal, Munt da San Murezzan and the highest point, Piz Nair (3057 m). Snow cover is guaranteed in this snow wonderland thanks to its ideal altitude of 1,800 to 3,303 meters.

Well-designed facilities ensure all visitors that they will spend their free time on skiing, not waiting in a queue to get on the top of the mountain. Minimal waiting times and maximum efficiency in a region make it even more popular among winter sports fans. It’s simply just a snowy heaven, with freeride slopes and wide beginners’ pistes.

Have you ever heard of the world’s first yoga piste? Well, yes, you will find it in St. Moritz!

Throughout the area, 34 mountain restaurants and cafes wait for visitors, offering mouth-watering gastronomic variety.

Let's mention once again the elevation - 1,800 to 3,303 meters. Thanks to such an altitude and the modern artificial snowmaking facilities, St. Moritz is snow-sure during the long season, starting from late November and finishing in mid-April.
